Titanium Grade 7 Uses
Mechanically and physically equivalent to Titanium Grade 2, but with added palladium which makes Titanium Grade 5 an alloy. It is the most corrosion resistant of all titanium alloys, including in reducing acids.
With it’s excellent flexibility and easy weldability, Titanium Grade 7 offers great formability, and is thus widely used in the chemical processing industry for production equipment parts:
- Chemical processing and storage containers
- Heat exchangers
- Ducting
- Pumps
- Valves
- Fittings and auxiliary equipment.
